A small highly specialized security services supplier to the federal government needed a CMMI DEV and SVC Benchmark tailored to the Security processes they deliver in their highly regulated environment.

ISD holds a unique position to support the client’s needs because we have a Lead Appraiser who is certified in all the domains to be evaluated (DEV, SVC, SEC, SAM). As domains are added to the appraisal scope, it becomes more and more difficult to obtain a single Certified Lead Appraiser who is qualified, capable, and experienced in all aspects of the evidence to be evaluated.

Outcome

Because of ISD’s experience in delivering this type of Benchmark, in a short engagement that only included a Gap Analysis, Readiness Review, and the final Benchmark, we successfully led the organizational unit to achieve its CMMI Benchmark.
